YSL Silver Cage DIY heels Review

Just a little update on how the YSL silver “Cage” DIY heels withstood a day out of the closet.

As you may know I wore them to work last Friday and they stayed in place just fine. No problems there. The only problem I did encounter was the rubbing away of the spray paint on the side of the right one {which, by the way, doesn’t continue to smell like spray paint after that first day}

I quickly became aware of my habit of crossing my legs under my desk and resting my left foot on the top of my right one when I realized I was rubbing off the paint.

Solution? Don’t lean or rub on anything.

Well, that certainly won’t work {although the left foot is mint}. Maybe there’s a spray sealant I could spray over the silver? I’ll have to look into that. In the meantime, I’ll just spray them with another coat of silver.

All in all, I’m fairly happy with the quality …but not so much about my finger-like toes and chipping polish.

I’m sensing football season is just around the corner …anyone else have ridiculously happy husbands in their living rooms?
