Spring is the most challenging time to get dressed for me because all I want to do is wear dresses and sandals and it’s still too cold to.. Especially up here, the sun is always out and the skies are always blue but it’s still chilly. I found this dress a few weeks ago on Shopbop and had to have it and I love it because it’s really thick/heavy and the long sleeves allow me to wear it now, even in the chill, and I thought denim underneath was a bit fresher than tights. But tights would be adorable with it come Fall. It’s kind of the perfect transitional dress and I just realized it comes in a few other colors, which I may have to go and get.
It’s also crazy how much I want to wear flats now. I’ve NEVER been a flats girl {or woman}… ever. But they just seem like the right choice with everything lately. Also, there’s such a wider variety of flats to choose from now besides cutesy ballet flats, which don’t always fit my style. So that’s fun. But also, I think the outfits I’m drawn to wearing lately all call for flats. So I’d better start hoarding them as my heels all start to collect dust.
