What Should I Wear For… A Spring/Summer Wedding

If you’re attending a Spring or Summer wedding, daytime or night, a bright and cheerful dress with a hem that hits mid to lower thigh -or longer, like tea length, a midi or maxi length, is a good place to start. Unless the wedding has a specific dress code, a color or theme, and/or is black tie, any of these dresses would do just fine. If it’s an evening wedding or in early Spring, you’ll need a light cardigan, wrap, or even pashmina to keep the chill away.

* All dresses found at nordstrom.com dress shop

Unless you have a favorite boutique, a large department store like Nordstrom is going to offer the most bang for your buck. They’ll have dresses under $100 and up to $500 to fit any budget, with a variety of choices to fit your style.

Another tip: Opt for brighter colors for day and darker colors for night. Evening affairs are always a little bit more dramatic, so you can dress the part!
