Transitioning into Fall: Gray Hematite Glitter Nails

chanel top coat-rgb gray nail polish-martha stewart glitter glue nails

I’m so in love with this fun little nail trend that I may just use every single one of the 24 glitter glues in the Martha Stewart collection. Since it’s not quite Fall yet, but getting darker earlier *sadface* I wanted nails that were not exactly dark and not exactly light either. Gray was an obvious choice. Each time I do this manicure in a different color scheme I like it better than the last.

Here’s how I did it…

* Two coats of RGB polish in Steel {even on ring fingers}
* Two coats of Martha Stewart Glitter glue in Hematite on ring fingers.
* Two coats of Chanel Extreme Shine lacquer over the glitter & just one coat over the rest.

* Note: the glitter stays on quite well {I apply it over the nail polish & not directly to my nail}, though does come off a bit quicker when in the pool. It is easily removable with nail polish remover.

* Also note: I squeeze the glitter glue onto the center of my nail then carefully spread it out with the tip of the glue container. I wait for it to dry then add another coat of glue and spread it out evenly. See a step by step here
