* Title: lyrics from Take Cover ‘Acceptance’

Living where there are real life season really makes thinking about getting dressed so much more fun. It never really changes in LA… it’s always some version of warm, unless it’s raining, and occasionally at night time, when it’s strangely chilly.

But just an hour and a half away {if there’s no traffic} -where we live now, the seasons are in full bloom and I can already see the leaves on certain trees changing from green to yellow-y brown. The late Summer light feels different as well as shadows from tree branches cast in orange-y hues decorate the pavement. It’s still warm, but this evening {about a week ago, you can tell by my nails} was chilly enough for a light sweater. The rich and warm fall hues were an accident, but a happy one. I look forward to Fall and Winter more than ever now.
