Outfits St. Patrick's Day Style

Taxidermy is on my Walls… I’m a Hunter

casual weekend outfit - green plaid + sneaker wedges

What I’m Wearing…

* Gray sweater with heart elbow patches from Asos {see the hearts here in the snow and here on the street}
* Taupe skinny jeans by J Brand {see them also here in the snow and here back home with heels}
* Green plaid flannel shirt also from Asos
* Maui Jim Mavericks ~ gold aviator sunlasses {favorite aviators!}
* Nike Dunk Sky Hi wedge sneakers in Dark Loden {see them also in this outfit which probably works even better with the title and I just realized I’m wearing the same sweater too}

Title: lyrics from Pharrell Williams “Hunter” … his knew album is SO GREAT It’s just happy and fun to dance to. If you notice my Nike+ Fuelband in all my recent outfit posts, it’s because I rarely take it off, it is an AMAZING motivator and has got the husband and I ten million times more active than we once were. We’re even going on daily hikes now, {which used to happen one-3 times a week and now it’s more like 5-7 times}. But back to Pharrell, we also take ten minute dance breaks at the end of every other hour to win two hours and get fuel points and this is our favorite album to dance to at the moment… yes, full on dance party in our living room, at least twice a day, if not more, lol.

Though please note, taxidermy is not actually on “my walls” and I’m not “a hunter” because I could never ever ever EVER do it. Vintage taxidermy I’m actually okay with {purchasing-maybe}, but I’m no hunter. I cry if I see a dead squirrel in the road. But I love the song, and my outfit somehow reminded me of it… also because I was actually listening to it while prepping this post 😉

And a little green for St. Patrick’s Day inspo!

Love this sporty casual weekend outfit, which I actually wore the other day {Tuesday} to run around in and when it got chilly in the evening, I pulled the flannel on as well as my faux fur vest… which transformed it from sporty to mountain-y as you can see below {photos below via iPhone}

Happy Friday Lovecats!
