I had a thought for a leather DIY project the other day and since I recycled the rest of my leather skirt to make my DIY over-the-knee boot spats, I headed to a little local leather shop in North Hollywood called Tandy Leather Factory.
They have quite a large selection of leather for such a little shop including both untreated raw leather sides {above} and pre-tanned and treated leathers and suede sides {below}.
Pre-cut leather belt strips …some with stamped floral carving, some raw, some tanned/dyed/treated and a variety of belt buckles to match.
Stones, rivets, grommets, conchos, studs, you name it, they have it including tools for setting them all.
Hair-on cowhides + designer hair-on cowhides -leopard, zebra printed & dyed in bright colors, rabbit furs & sheepskins
Treated black leather side, black suede lacing, a sheepskin {on sale for $30 …I’m going back for more} & a leopard printed rabbit fur …I know, kinda sad. DIY coming soon
