Shop // Adorable Summer Jumpsuits That’ll Take You Into Fall

valley of the dolls jumpsuit-1

Way back in July of 2009, I shared this jumpsuit that I was IN LOVE with from the movie Valley of the Dolls. At the time, nothing similar could be found, and even a vintage one-piece or jumpsuit was difficult to come by.

Cut-to nearly 10 years later -NOW- where I’m seeing TONS of similar options available! So many that I was reminded of my own post! …Many versions now have a slimmer leg, but the feeling is the same… and I love them.

I know it seems a little late in the season to buy a floaty jumpsuit, given that most of them have spaghetti straps or something similarly made for warm weather, BUT it would be SO cute layered OVER a skinny turtleneck with boots or sneakers or flats, bringing the boho into fall with a chic, tailored, retro feel.

AND the best part about buying after season is that mostly they’re on sale now!

I haven’t found a cute giraffe-print version like the one from the movie, but I love the polka dots, the solids with ruffled sleeves, and so many of the floral prints are just adorable (without looking like a toddler would wear it) …The hardest part is trying to figure out which one to buy!
