Fall 2012 Outfits my style Style wearing my DIYs

Retro Floral Explosion… Wiggle Pencil Dress

What I’m Wearing…

* Floral pencil wiggle dress from Asos on sale now for $55… runs a tad big, fyi {but is 98% cotton and will shrink in the wash – tip, hang it dry}. Here’s a cute PETITE version in black
* DIY Leather Belt
* Giuliana Rancic for LOFT necklace
* Christian Louboutin sling-back heels… Closest match: Louboutin peep toe slingbacks
* Vintage sunglasses… Joseph Mimi rings.
* Phillip Lim bag… though a smaller bag would have worked maybe a bit better, because I went with a classic shoe, I thought the bigger bag would modernize it a little more.

* Nails: Messy French Tips

I actually wore this last week to film a little something… that I’m not exactly sure what to call really. It was for a product… and I was standing in my office/dressing room, in front of my closet {which looks a bit different now} talking about my clothes and how I care for them so they last for decades… but really, I’m not sure I can spill any more beans. I’ll obviously post it when I can and share all the details.

I do love this dress, even though it’s a tad too big everywhere… I may wash it to see what happens but I love the crispness of it and the vibrant colors. It might be a teensy bit more flattering if I shortened it about an inch or so as well. It sort of hits right at the girth of my calves and would make them appear leaner if it were just below my knees. Also, it has pockets… always a plus!

Happy Tuesday!
