Saturday morning LeRoy woke up sick… I’m so sad when he’s sick. I immediately think the worst… but after a few vet visits, we narrowed it down to ear, eye, and tooth infections and the antibiotics have already made him feel better. {YAY} He’s got a doggy dental appointment this coming week to fix up his stank mouth. I hope it won’t be as bad as the time we took Bebop and he had 13 teeth removed! As far as bad doggy teeth are concerned I was told that it’s not likely that brushing would really help much. And This Kind Lady J said Small dogs’ little, tiny jaw bones don’t hold on to the roots of the teeth well, which somehow leads to early and easy tooth decay. It’s just a little dog thing and that this happens quite often when baby teeth don’t fall out either… which all made me feel better {because obviously, we never want our doggies to be in pain or bad health}.
A little nail polish and magazine break last week… which in my occupation, still happens to be work, {but fun work :} and resulted in this pretty Floral Manicure.

The thing I miss MOST about LA {aside from my friends and family, of course} is the sushi. LA has the best sushi and we had a few favorite sushi spots and haven’t had it since we moved here in December. Last week we went out to dinner and they had seared ahi in the appetizers menu… and it was heavenly {not to mention, pretty}.

My favorite kale salad with grilled chicken on top. I keep meaning to post my kale salad recipe but also keep forgettting!! I eat it once a week, if not 5 times a week and really, it’s so simple and so good. Soon, hopefully soon. The husband grilled up some chicken and I tossed it on top of my salad. Delish!
