* Beanie from Bob Basics {also a few years ago… and an accidental real fur purchase. I swear I thought they were faux – but they’re warmer than any others I haves so at least they’re functional}

* Nails: As soon as I stake claim on something, I change my mind. I’ve been wearing classic red on my nails for nearly a year now and suddenly I’m obsessed with an old favorite from 2006 OPI’s Lincoln Park After Dark. It’s the perfect dark hue that’s not too black, not too purple, not too burgundy… it’s so good against my skin tone though, I’m hooked again.

Though it happened last Friday, the attacks on Paris are still fresh in my mind, and I’m sure in yours too. It’s a travesty and a horrific event that has to do with all of us worldwide, and it’s unbearably sad to think that humans are still fighting over their beliefs, at the core. I’m not sure exactly what to say but I just hope peace prevails, on every level. Can’t we all just get along? Can’t the human race evolve past war and violence? Can’t we all just live and let live? I wonder if I’ll get to see a world where these are truths… if the children of our world today will? It saddens me on every level and probably like most of us, makes me feel a bit helpless.
