What We’re Wearing…
* Old dress from Forever21 {2007 I think} that always makes me look pregnant but I love it because it’s so comfortable.
* Light weight denim shirt {tied} by Madewell
* I’m wearing Crocs Ocean Minded Espadrilla Slip On in navy {um so comfy} and mom’s wearing Crocs A-Leigh Linen Wedge in parrot green.
* Hair is wet and tangled and pulled up to dry {sometimes I just don’t care~most times really, lol}
My mom drove up for a visit on Mother’s Day and we had such a nice day 😉 I was even willing to drive down into the LA heat to see her but she opted to get out of the heat and have a mini getaway in our guest room and we always love having her.
I’d been DYING to give her her Mother’s Day gift for months and couldn’t wait to see her face when she opened it…
I had a diamond and sapphire ring passed down from my grandma {my mom’s mom}, which was beautiful, but not really my style. It wasn’t horrible but it was set in the early 80’s and stood up really high and would get caught on everything when I wore it. It also seems like all the jewels skipped my mom and went right to me, so I decided to share the wealth and use the stones from my grandma’s old ring to create two new identical rings that my mom and I could wear separately but that would sort of unite all three of us together.
