MTLM Designs The Shelby Dress

Mood Board // The Shelby Dress {I’m Designing – EEK!}

The Shelby Dress Mood Board_love Maegan

I’ve been working on a secret project that I’ve been DYING to share with you guys and I finally get to reveal a little bit about it:

It’s a dress!

I’m designing a dress that you will be able to custom order and I’ve named it The Shelby Dress.

Above is a bit of my mood board for the dress, and as you can see I was wildly inspired by the Peaky Blinders series, of which I have been obsessed with for a few months now. The family name in the show is Shelby, and so I thought it a fitting title for my dress based on my inspiration.

In my opinion, this dress the perfect combination of sexy and sweet, masculine and feminine ~ intertwined with a modern twist and a hint of Victorian, a new classic to keep in your closet and wear forever… but perfect for summer events!

Soon you will have the chance to custom order The Shelby Dress and wear it yourself, if you like it of course, and I so hope you do! I’m just giddy with excitement and anticipation, I barely have words to describe it! One day I’m confident and can’t wait to share and know you’ll just love it, and the next day I’m riddled with doubt and second-guessing everything and terrified at the thought of it being ill-received and you hating it. And in just a few weeks, I’ll know for sure eeeeek!

I’ve only seen a muslin version so far, we’re still ironing out all the details… hopefully I can share more details soon…. but EEEEEK!!! You guys!!! I can’t wait!
