MEGA VOLUME HAIR : John Frieda Full Volume Hair Dryer Review *Video*

John Frieda hair dryer review-2

A few years ago, after decades of using cheap drugstore blowdryers and ending up with dry, straw-like hair, I finally splurged on an “expensive” hair dryer. Of course it’s all relative, but I spent over $100 on a new dryer and honestly, it did make all the difference in the world. Suddenly after a blow dry, my hair was soft and shiny instead of frizzy and fragile, and it swung freely instead of looking like it was about to break.

I was excited when John Frieda reached out and asked if I wanted to try their new Full Volume 1875 Watt Hair Dryer with frizz-fighting technology, because I truly wanted to compare price points with products… and so I accepted the challenge.

At $49.99, this dryer is a little more expensive than the average hair dryer but far less expensive than the one I purchased a few years ago, and I think in these last few years, technology has caught up to price point because this dryer did exactly what my “expensive” one did: make my hair smooth and shiny and QUICK! It has a more powerful “blow” without being ridiculously loud, and dries my hair super fast! Needless to say, I was pretty impressed with the results.

The short {ish} video below is my review of the dryer, and a little insight on how I blow dry my hair and get so much volume in it, including a full blow-out {don’t worry, I sped it up a bit}. You can read my tips for Mega Volume Hair as well, but seeing is believing 🙂
