‘Make Good Art’ and ‘Enjoy the Process’

After venting a little bit in last Thursday’s outfit post about being so overwhelmed by work and finishing my manuscript at the moment – – then, through writing it, coming to the realization that what I’m doing is actually thrilling and that I need to enjoy the journey a little bit more, I had a comment from Rebecca at Sunny Sanguinity with a link to a keynote address by award-winning author and graphic novelist Neil Gaiman whose notable works include The Sandman and Coraline, among others. I clicked the link and opened the window but saved it in my sidebar until just after 1am Friday evening, when I had my first free moment to watch it. And I enjoyed it so much, I thought I’d share it all with you as well. It’s quite inspiring for not only writers, but for artists, as well as anyone working towards something they are passionate about. It’s definitely worth a watch. {*Thanks Rebecca ;}
