This is a surprisingly flattering HORIZONTAL STRIPED DRESS! No joke! Something about where the thicker black stripes hit around the waist I think make for a flattering look that kind of add to my shape in a good way, I just love it! I’m actually wearing a small when I usually wear a medium and it fits nicely but is a teensy bit snug in the arms and rides up a teensy bit at the hem when I walk… though it doesn’t really bother me and I’m guessing my regular size wouldn’t do that HOWEVER, there’s something about the smaller size that also fits better through the bodice, which is making it even more flattering!
I grabbed the denim vest for a little warmth but being a bit oversized, it wasn’t super flattering in the photos which is why I wore it over my shoulders… but wearing a vest over your shoulders is a bit silly, but the mix of the denim with the stripes along with the pops of color is just so fun for spring. I’m also in LOVE with these shoes… so in love that I bought a half size bigger and still love them even though they’re too big. Oh well, let’s just hope I don’t trip and fall whilst wearing them and break my bones… which I actually did as a kid, wearing high tops that were too big. Two fingers broken because I fell on them, lol. I’ll tread lightly I suppose 😉
