Maxi Dresses for Fall

What I’m Wearing…

* Old mixed print, tiered and ruffled floaty maxi dress by Bebe
* Black sweater with cognac heart elbow patches {I have this sweater in gray too} from Asos
* Black Pashli bag by 3.1 Phillip Lim
* Square tortoise sunglasses by Stella McCartney
* Layered vintage necklaces… one chain & one rhinestone. My fave combo at the moment.
* Black sandals by Crocs

Title: lyrics from Gotye ~ Hearts a Mess

Taking a little inspiration from my own 21 Ways to Style Your Maxi Dresses for Fall post, I threw on my all-time favorite maxi dress that I’ve had forever and as I was zipping it up, the zipper got stuck and then I accidentally yanked the pull off. I was stuck. And I didn’t have time to change, so I threw on this little black sweater over it and it was the perfect combo of warmth and casual dress for our evening dinner.

It made me think of drollgirl’s post Zip It wherein she asks a stranger at a gas station to help her zip up her dress. So great.
