Just A Little Spring Shopping

A little spring shopping… because it’s been a cold and uneventful winter, -as far as the weather is concerned over here on the West Side anyway, and I’m now looking forward to fun Summer days on the lake and warm Summer nights on the patio.

I swear when I was a kid I had a navy and white striped one-piece bathing suit that I ADORED and these bikini bottoms are so cute I couldn’t resist. I want to mostly wear them with that cute quilted sweatshirt with the peter pan edge because I don’t really have a bikini top that matches, but solid white would work I suppose.

I saw these sandals the other day in Coach banner ad on the side of my own blog I think {lol – I guess they know their target audience ;} and became obsessed with them. They have a bit of a Birkenstock feel to them but with a little more pizazz, don’t you think? I dunno, we’ll see… they may look hideous on these tortured feet and I’ll have to return them.

Mixing items in from my own closet…

I have a feeling I’ll be living in my bro’s old ripped up Levi’s {See me wearing them here: Vintage Levi’s and Stripes} this coming Spring because they are so comfy and so cute. I may actually alter a pair or two {with a DIY of course}, but maybe not. I have so many fun pairs, I may as well add a little something to a few of them, right?

I’ll be using last year’s white Rockie bag by Alexander Wang, and probably even my 3.1 Phillip Lim mini Pashli too, and I think they’ll all look adorable with the floral print lace-ups… which I think will all look cute with the ripped up jeans. Though I am kind of obsessed with soft pink bags right now, I haven’t purchased one yet.

And I can never resist an amazing pair of sunglasses… usually Marc Jacobs sunnies are a bit too narrow for my face but these are perfection and in burgundy, so they’re different from anything else I have. I love the weight of them, heavy, but they stay in place. The Stella McCartney’s I’ve been wearing over the past year are a really great shape and super light but they will not stay on my face for more than one second, so they’re not actually very useful, which is a huge bummer because I love them. I still wear my old Tom Ford cat eyes too, they’re so sturdy, I can’t believe I’ve been wearing them since the beginning of 2010.

{above} The mini pashli bag I’ve had for a while now and adore for its weight and size {and cuteness}… it holds exactly what I need and I can wear it crossbody when we walk to the village and run errands.

What are you guys into right now for Spring/Summer?
