Outfits Style wearing my DIYs

IT’S FRIDAY… I’m in Love

60s style cheerleader outfit

What I’m Wearing…

* Old black turtleneck… similar awesome black ribbed turtleneck by 525 America I’m about to buy because mine is old and faded and stretched out now {as you can see in the arms/by the wrists}
* Vintage gray sweatervest {also seen here with jeans ages ago}
* DIY Cheerleader Skirt
* Opaque black tights by Commando
* Knee high wedge slouch suede boots by Rosegold from a few years ago but there are a rad pair of flat suede boots by Stuart Weitzman I’m dying to get my hands on.

* Hair: dried out ’60s pigtails, lol

* Title: my favorite line ever, but from my favorite band The Cure ‘Friday I’m in Love’

I’ve been fighting the flu all week {insert seriously loud UGGGHHHHH sound here} which has got me mostly resting to prevent it from turning into a full blown out of control cold/flu situation because I hate being sick. But it also means that I haven’t done much work since Wednesday… and after a shitty start to the week with technical difficulties and moved schedules, and rushed jobs, I’ve been spent. Sure, I’m being a baby-whiner, this I cannot help, but I’m trying to move through this without it actually taking me down for the count.

I put this fun outfit together strictly for my DIY Cheerleader skirt because it felt ’60s and fun and I just couldn’t help myself. Though I would wear it out {sans the pigtails} I actually did not… BUT I WOULD 🙂

I’m going back to bed now, resting up for a full weekend of work, blerg.

Monday you can fall apart
Tuesday, Wednesday break my heart
Thursday doesn’t even start
It’s Friday I’m in love
