It Actually Worked! Hurray Olay!

Olay hair removal duo

As the years pass, or rather the older I get, the more facial hair I seem to have, and I don’t like it. I don’t like it one bit. At least my hair is blonde though and only really is visible in the sunlight {though my husband loves to point it out to me when he notices it} but I really feel for brunettes who have to deal with dark facial hair from an early age.

I often tweeze my own little blonde mustache hairs because I hate waxing, and I do it while I’m distracted, like when I’m watching TV, so I don’t feel the pain. But the center hairs hurt so badly, I often don’t get to them, leaving a ridiculous little blonde Hitler stache… which is obviously, no good!

I’ll admit, when I first opened my little box of New Olay Smooth Finish Facial Hair Removal Duo, I was skeptical. How could it possible work on my fine white hairs in 6-8 minutes? I looked at the instructions and there were really only 2 steps… easy!

I prepared my skin with the skin guarding balm then applied the hair removal cream as instructed and then waited. After about 6 minutes, I used a cotton pad and gently wiped away my creamy mustache, and rinsed with warm water.

When I looked in the mirror, inspecting my upper lip, I literally stated aloud “IT WORKED! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT ACTUALLY WORKED”.

I really am not sure why I was so skeptical. Maybe because I’d never tried a product like this before or maybe because it was so easy and gentle on my skin. But regardless, I’m so happy with the outcome! I admired my hairless upper lip for a few minutes longer and thought OMG no more tweezing and plucking and pain!

Hurray Olay!
