House Crush // 11 Cornwall Road Country Guest House

Litchfield County Guest House

My first “House Crush” posts centered entirely around homes nearby where I lived in Lake Arrowhead… I figured since I was looking at homes anyway, it would be a fun way to sort of share a little bit of the process with you…

(I’m still not sure if I’m staying in my house or moving, I’m here for now 🙂

BUT THEN I wondered why just keep it local when there are so many amazing houses to crush on and gain inspiration from? I thought that immediately after finding this incredibly stunning Litchfield County Guest House at 11 Cornwall Road on some seriously beautiful land and then seriously falling in love.

The guest house was built in 1772 and remodeled in 2017 by Amy Beth Cupp and while it’s definitely not for sale, it is available to rent!

Their speciality is hosting groups (up to 12 guests, or 16 with three rooms as double occupancy) for experiential events but they also have individual room rentals as well.

Quick Bio…

Located conveniently between Washington, Kent and Sharon Connecticut, 11 Cornwall Road is an ideal home base for hiking, cycling, fly fishing, canoeing, cross country skiing or antiquing.

The guest house has 6 king bedroom suites, a large library with fireplace, a comfortable bar area, a dining space that seats up to 20 people and a fully equipped professional kitchen including a 7 burner, two oven Lacanche Range.

It looks like heaven to me!
