Fashion Friday // Free People x Yellowstone Collaboration

Now, I’m no Country Western girlie, BUT I AM OBSESSED with the show, Yellowstone, and have been for the last few years. When I originally saw Kelsey Asbille’s character, Monica, cozied up in an oversized cardigan in season 2, episode 8, I IMMEDIATELY ran to google to search for it. Alas, I quickly found out it was vintage, however, there have been a few dupes made since, although none feel quite as dreamy as the one she was wearing on the show 🫢 – but maybe that’s just me.

Yellowstone S5 Kelsey Asbille Cardigan

After the drama that went down with Kevin Costner last season, I wasn’t sure we’d get more show, AND I wasn’t sure I even wanted to watch without the main character, but this second coming of Season 5 has DELIVERED! And I’ve let out a few screams at the TV, though I won’t spoil it for you if you haven’t seen it yet.

ANYWAY, somehow, even though I get Free People emails on the regular and I have been an avid fan of Free People and their collections and have shared here through the years, SOMEHOW, I missed this one and instead found it a few days ago on Instagram because the algorithm knows I follow the show. So when it popped up, I went back to my email and sure enough found the email about the entire collection that launched on November 11th!

NOW technically, it’s not a collection, but more of a CURATION of Boho/Western looks with Kelsey Asbille modeling the fits, BUT, it’s close enough for me to want to shop them all. Unfortunately I don’t see the cardigan, but there are plenty of other options that are worthy and the photoshoot for the collaboration is STUNNING!
