Title: lyrics by Commodores – Easy

I’ve had these jeans since the ’90s. They remain folded neatly in my denim pile [usually near the bottom] because they fit fabulously and you just don’t find vintage 501s that fit fabulously that often. They were, in fact, my mom’s boyfriend’s way back when… and when the knees ripped out, he gave them to me… and twenty years later [WOW I CAN’T BELIEVE I JUST SAID THAT] I’m wearing them again. If he only knew, lol.

There’s something about a great pair of men’s Levi’s 501 jeans that can fit so perfectly and be so flattering in certain eras and then not at all in others. The waist on these comes up pretty high, but not ridiculous. In fact, the waist actually fits snugly, not muffin top territory, but just right, while the rest of the jeans fit rather loosely. I tend to gain/loose 5lbs pretty regularly. If I’m anxious or stressed out, I tend to be 5lbs under {which is probably the weight I should always stay at} but when I’m unworried and happy, I eat more, thus 5lbs over. And in that small lb area, these jeans can either fit comfortably or be a total nightmare. Today, they feel alright 😉
