DIY Nautical Rope Napkin Rings

beach table setting ideas+nautical rope napkin rings, shells and coral, blue and white dishes

I love a great nautical tabletop and rope napkin rings are so easy and inexpensive to make, you’d almost be a fool to buy them 😉

From rustic to nautical, Thanksgiving to the 4th of July, rope napkin rings work with nearly any color scheme or theme. I love them and use them year-round!

Tip: if you don’t have a hot glue gun you can actually use a large needle and thread to stitch the rope together as I did here to hang my tea light lanterns in my bathroom.

I literally did this DIY in 3 minutes flat. And while I’m not a fan of the hot glue gun for fashion DIYs, home DIYs are a completely different matter and the glue gun is quick and easy and profesh {as long as you can’t see the dried glue}. And obviously, if you want it larger, wrap & glue more rope around.

Have Fun!

*Blue and white dishes are Mikasa from the early 80’s. They were my mom’s and I’ve always loved them and I’m lucky to finally have a home to use them in. Thanks mom! {in case you want to search for them, the bottom says Mikasa | Fine China | Peking | L6103 | Japan}
