Outfit post on Monday!??! …and outside instead of the gallery?!?!? …I know! This is the alley behind our condo and I pulled out of our parking garage, left the car running, set up the camera to shoot 3 and ran to place. I was SOOOOO worried someone was going to catch me …horrors!! But luckily, I snapped a few unnoticed …or so I think. And since I’m new at these shots, eh, they’re not as good as the gallery shots, in my opinion …but show off the shoes better. {and not exactly sure what’s goin’ on with my hair in the first shot ..but what can you do?}

I’m in the gallery all week instead of my normal three day schedule so I’m not sure how outfit posting is going to go …a little spontaneity doesn’t hurt though, right?

I was desperate to wear my new DIY Loubs today but oddly enough found it really challenging to make an outfit work with them. They’re so flirty and fancy that I really had to tone down the outfit to offset them for work …cocktail hour is a completely different story. {although the last time I was anywhere at cocktail hour is a distant memory}

I was going to wear a version of this outfit but it just wasn’t working. So, I’m not completely satisfied with my look today …I’ll have to work on a couple more outfits to pair with my new favorite shoes!
