Breakfast & Smoothie Bowls Too Pretty to Eat

Food or Art? Breakfast bowls & smoothies too pretty to eat!

Food or Art?

When I make something, I like to keep it forever or give it away as a gift. I think the reason I don’t spend a lot of time cooking has to do with wasted effort. I mean, sure it tastes great, but all that time and energy spent creating something just to be eaten and disappear before my eyes…? I can’t take it. It’s too much for the artist in me to handle. But I have mad respect for chefs, bakers, and culinary artisans, who really perfect not only the taste of a dish, but also the presentation… because really, it is a form of art.

Samira Kazan, creator of Alpha Foodie, has done both. Well I can’t speak for the taste, but I can only imagine the sweet flavor and delicate texture of her creations. Every one of her photos of food is utterly mouthwatering and visual eye candy, but her breakfast and smoothie bowls are just incredible. I want to dive right in.
