Baby Spa Treatment Videos So Calming to Watch

Baby Spa Treatment

I’m guessing if you spend any time on the line or on Facebook, you’ve already seen these sweet baby spa treatment videos by Sonia Rochel, who specialises in early childcare development, and developed the idea of the “Thalasso bain bébé” for newborns.

The videos depict this French nurse holding babies in water, normally just a few weeks old, calmly moving, bathing, and massaging them for 15 minutes to the sound of relaxing music, without the use of any soaps or creams. Apparently Rochel wanted to show that bath time for new borns should be a relaxing experience for both baby and parent.

The videos are so incredibly sweet and awe-inspiring to watch that I was completely calmed by simply viewing the experience. The music is relaxing, but also you can’t help but be completely absorbed in what you’re watching that it takes you out of anything going on in your real life. I couldn’t help posting them here, just in case you hadn’t seen them yet, to give yourself a nice sense of calm today. Whenever I think back on the video and babies, calm washes over me as well.

This is the second and most recent baby spa video in which Rochel holds a very young pair of French twins, a girl and a boy, seemingly locked together in a hug as they are massaged, bathed, and rocked in the water. Of course most of the headlines read something ridiculous to get us to click through like BABIES DON’T KNOW THEY’RE BORN YET, when in reality, this is something completely different.
