Alison’s baby shower is today and she has kindly asked me to decorate it for her. And before I agreed to such a task I had to ask “Can I blog about it?” …because what is life if I can’t document it ;? Of course she agreed and I posted my inspiration post in early May.

Shown above are the elements I have gathered and will be using to not necessarily “set” the tables but to decorate them, as that is my main focus of the event. As this is much of a before idea and Sunday, after the shower, I’ll post photos of how it all came together. The ideas are swirling in my mind and I hope the execution is as lovely as it is in my head.

*note: I diy’d place mats and coasters out of footy pajama fabric, using a large plastic salad bowl and plastic cup as my stencils. The material is white and dotted and has a bit of a grip and of course, is mostly {and hopefully} worn by kids and I liked the bit of irony there.
