Fall 2012 Outfits my style Style

All Around Me Are Familiar Faces…

easy and versatile dress for all seasons

What I’m Wearing…

* Purple drop waist dress by Juicy Couture {and it’s on sale now dammit!}
* Guy & Eva necklace and earrings
* Mixed bangles and Joseph Mimi rings
* Brahmin vivian dome bag {if you care, read here why I’m still using my Brahmin bags}
* Chloe star sunglasses
* Loeffler Randall shoes {among the comfiest heels I have} Thanks Jennine for the tip!

Title: lyrics from Mad World by Tears For Fears {because it’s a little more upbeat than the original}

I originally bought this dress in black and I LOVED it {see me wearing it here} … so I went back to Shopbop and bought it in this plummy/purple color, which I love just as much. It’s just one of those great dresses that you can wear with nothing else {like I have in this post} or layered with boots and blazers {like I did here} or even with tights and coats {like I’m looking forward to in the winter}. The length is uber-flattering {on my 5’7″ frame anyway} and I love the large ruffle at the end. It’s flirty without being over the top and completely appropriate for, let’s just say, my cousin’s baby shower, where I wore it last weekend.
